First and foremost, go to google.com/android/devicemanager from a computer or another mobile device.
Enter the Login credentials of the same Google account that you are using on your Android phone, and click Sign In.
This would take you to a page with a map, where the location of your phone will be visible if Android Device Manager was successful in connecting to your device.
Select your device, in case you have more than one.
Press on the “Lock” option if you wish to bypass your locked Android phone.
Now you get the option to enter a New Lock Screen Password for your phone. Enter and re-enter a new password, Use something that you will remember. You don’t wanna go through the same ordeal again now, do you?
The Recovery Message and Phone Number Fields are optional, but you can use it if you feel a need to. Whatever you type in the Recovery Message option will show up on your lock screen, and the Phone Number option will create a button win the lock screen to call that specific number. We will let you ponder over the applications of these two features.
Now press the Lock Button.
That’s it. Now you can use this new password to successfully bypass your locked android screen. Sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes for thenew password to become active, but it sure will.
